Have you ever considered getting a tattoo? Tattoos are very common in today’s culture and come in so many varieties! Some people have small tattoos that match with someone they love. Others are covered head-to-toe in artistic body-ink. Whether you have a tattoo or not, they are so common that you are likely to engage with others who have them on a daily basis.
What are your thoughts on tattoos? Do you worry that they will affect your professional opportunities? Do you have concern for what your family might think? Have you thought about it over and over and can’t come up with a decision whether or not you want this permanent marking on your skin?
For all these reasons, the company inkbox has created semi-permanent tattoos that anyone can apply on any part of your body! Their tag line is “Tattoos for now, not forever” and they market their product to “…the person who wants to express themselves but doesn’t know WTF they want.” Seems like a perfect option!
We recently tried inkbox for ourselves to see what it is all about.
You have a choice of a pre-designed tattoo or 
you have the option to purchase their freehand ink. We started with the pre-designed option to keep it simple.
When you get the package it comes with all the tools you need to properly apply your semi-permanent tattoo. They strongly suggest watching their YouTube video to fully understand the process before you begin (you wouldn’t want to mess it up for the cost and the look!).
After watching the video, the process seemed a little daunting, but once we got started it wasn’t that bad.
All-in-all, it takes about 15 minutes to apply your inkbox tattoo. Within 24-hours of application, the ink darkens and you are done! They say it lasts 8-18 days, but we found that it lasted more like 8-10.
Pros:
Relatively easy to apply
Non-irritating to the skin
Looked great/realistic
Not permanent!
Cons:
At $16-$20 per tattoo, it’s a little pricey for what you get (although compared to a REAL tattoo this is extremely cost effective!)
Didn’t last as long as we wanted
